The book I’ve chosen for today’s challenge is one that I read before it became popular. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed its sequel. I enjoyed its subsequent sequel. But I LOATHED the final book in its saga. My love for the first books was also somewhat tarnished by the production of films with so-so actors, which somehow resulted in the creation of annoying fan-girls who took on the even more annoying title of “Twi-hards”.
That’s right: the Book I’m Most Embarrased To Say I Like is: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to flee from the unquenchable rage of Stef from Dodging Commas.

It is also another fellow blogger’s shame (storytelling nomad) and she referenced this site: http://reasoningwithvampires.tumblr.com/ along with her confession! I think you might enjoy it =)
I won’t judge you (much) if you don’t judge me (much).
Yes, I did notice that Katy shared my answer for today’s challenge. (The difference being that she enjoyed it from go to woah, while I despise “Breaking Dawn” with a passion.)
And I do rather love that site!

The part where Edward called Jacob his son sorta shattered my fascination for the series. It let me see how ridiculous the whole thing was.
On the other hand,I loved Host!
Agreed, Host is brilliant. Let’s hope the film doesn’t kill it!
Breaking Dawn, in general, shattered the series for me. But then, I didn’t particularly like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, either. Perhaps it’s a subconscious thing; I know that the book I’m reading is the last one we’ll ever see from the series, and so I take a disliking to it…?
Who knows! Thanks for commenting!
you didn’t like harry potter and the deathly hallows? O_o Really? I loved the Prince’s Tale
Okay, I didn’t like numerous parts of Deathly Hallows. Like the number of people who died. And Draco’s lack of involvement in the story. And Ron managing to mimic parseltongue. THAT just seemed way too convenient!
…I’ll leave it there. I don’t want to spoil the storyline for anyone!
But certainly, the book did have its moments. Its awesome, Voldemort-y moments.
