Morning readers! The BlogFlash2012 Challenge is slowly drawing to a close, which is well-timed, as today I return to uni after a two-week break, and I shall soon be smashing my forehead against a brick wall in an attempt to leviate stress.
(Note: I have found that, in most instances, smashing one’s forehead against brick walls does not leviate stress.)
Other Day 26 posts can be explored here.
Go to the start of the Challenge here.
Seeing
When the Priest disappears within his Temple, the village people hush each other with fervent whispers: “Do not disturb our Priest; he is seeing.”
The intricacies of this process elude the people, for none have ever seen it. But they each hold hands and gaze at the Temple door, praying that maybe today the Priest would emerge and say that he had seen the World, and all was well once more.
Within the Temple, the Priest’s blackened, unseeing eyes explored the earth in search of a land unbroken and pure.
He saw none; he would look again tomorrow.

Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog because I got to find yours. Nice posts! :0) Good luck at university.
Thank you very much, Donna. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my work.
Yes, I like your style. Will you keep your blog up while at school?
Oh yes, I’ve been at university for nearly three years now, and have managed to keep my blog going for over a year.
While it can be time-consuming, it is also a great form of stress-relief. I definitely find ways to stick around, even during my busiest time.
Well that sure beats hitting your head against a brick wall to alleviate stress! :0) Good luck!
Faith is very strong in this piece. I really like it; a really good response to ‘seeing’. xx
Thank you for the kind words, Lizzie.
What a unique slant on the prompt! I love the diversity across your posts!
Thank you very much, Terri!
This was very different and cool. Love your take on the prompts – always so diverse and unique.
Good luck at Uni!
